First and foremost, every woman should consult their physician for their annual check-up and have a thorough breast exam. Another sound way to have an early detection of breast cancer is by doing a periodic breast self-examination. Mammograms are offered to women after a certain age and for women who have breast cancers in their family.
There is a lot of research going on right now as to find elements that can prevent or lower the risk of having breast cancer for adult females.
